Besides more than a dozen churches, Caldaro and Termeno offer also several historic buildings, manors and castles, which are an attractive enrichment of the villagescape. The still inhabited castles of Sallegg and Campan, for example, are located in Villa di Mezzo, a district of Caldaro, and are surrounded by a wonderful cultivated park - as it was usual in ancient times.
