On the edge of the Castelvecchio Forest, right in front of the sports area of Sant'Antonio (St. Anton), there is the Caldaro Adventure Park, a popular destination for families with children. Including an area of half a hectare, there are 23 courses featuring 200 different elements positioned among the top of beeches, larches and spruces.
Wooden platforms are connected with each other by rope bridges of various types and of different levels of difficulty, furthermore there are also nets, bars and Flying Fox ziplines. The adventure starts with an introduction to the correct handling of safety equipment and the right way to pass through the courses by a trained employee. The different courses, marked with colours, represent different difficulty levels and heights varying between 1 and 20 metres.
Kids have to be accompanied by an adult - except on the Sumsi Course -, whereas toddlers up to 3 years can play in the Bambi Castle. By the way: birthday children (up to 18 years) enter for free!
