The riding instructor and horse trainer Priska Kelderer, who has more than 20 years of experience, opened in 2017 a riding school in the Georgsturm Equestrian Center in Pianizza di Sopra. The facility offers - besides riding lessons for adults and children all-the-year - also the popular kid's riding weeks in summer, and preparation for and participation at western horse shows and tournaments.

Furthermore there are two other riding possibilities in the surroundings: one of them is the Wiesmüllerhof in the Via Garnellen road in Caldaro, with a VFD-VFS certified riding teacher, and the Überetscher Reitverein (Oltradige Riding Club) in the neighbouring village of Appiano. It can be found along the road leading to the Monticolo Lakes and offers single and group riding lessons as well as trail rides in the landscape of the Oltradige area.
