Caldaro is the home of Andreas Seppi, former professional tennis player who won, for example, the ATP 250 tournament in Eastbourne in 2011 and the tournaments in Belgrade and Moscow in 2012. His best result in the ATP ranking: 18th in January 2013. Here in Caldaro, this ball game is very popular - the tennis facility of the Caldaro Tennis Club is located in the sports zone of the Castelvecchio Forest, near the Forest Adventure Park.
Five sand courts, a hard court, a covered hard court, a gym and a training wall are available. Every year in summer, the Caldaro Tennis Club (Tennis Club Kaltern) organises a varied programme for children from 4 years of age, the so-called "tennis holidays". Furthermore, tennis courses for adults and kids are on offer. In winter two sand courts are covered by an air hall.
