Barbara Zanetti from Caldaro has been successful throughout Europe since 1991 as a talented singer and theatre actress
Barbara Zanetti had her first big performance in 1991 with the West Coast Group "Westbound" at the Bolzano Town Hall, in front of an audience of about 5,000 people. From then on, it was full steam ahead. After high school, she studied vocals in Vienna by Dr. James Moore and performed in various music groups - such as "carpe dieM" or "The Sett" - in Italy, Austria and Germany. Also musicals and theatre performances have been in her repertoire especially during those years.
With her debut album "How Could I Forget" in 2003, Barbara Zanetti had her final breakthrough and convinced the audience with 13 own composed songs in German, Italian and English language. Since 1991, Barbara Zanetti has published 10 CDs. Furthermore, she has performed frequently in Austrian, German and Italian national TV. In 2021 and 2022 she was awarded the German Rock & Pop Prize by the German Pop Foundation in the main category "Singer- Songwriter Prize".
Several big performances have come to follow, such as at the "Night of Sports" (Nacht des Sports) at the Vienna Hofburg and at the first German-American festival in the German Chancellery in Berlin, where she performed "God bless America". Barbara Zanetti has also performed at important events with her self composed anthems, such as "Glory Time" at the Biathlon World Championships in Anterselva, "Showdown" for the Bolzano Hockey Club - HCB South Tyrol Foxes and "Stand up for African mothers" for the eponymous campaign by AMREF Austria.
