By public bus you can reach easily and comfortably the valley station of the Mendola Funicular and the shores of Lake Caldaro
From the beginning of May to the end of October there is a bus service running between the localities of San Nicolò, Sant'Antonio, the bus station and the Piazza dei Rottenburg square in Caldaro village and Lake Caldaro: the so-called "See- und Wanderbus" (Lake and Hiking Bus). From mid-June to the beginning of September it operates every hour.
The Lake Caldaro Shuttle has been ideated to make a ride from the village to the lake possible without using your own car and searching for a parking space. Furthermore, this bus service stops at the valley station of the Mendola Funicular which takes you up to the Passo della Mendola mountain pass. Wonderful hiking paths start from there, e.g. to Mt. Roen.
